Kaizhe Tan at NSWCHSSA 2026, and the jump that was called a foul

Two moments from NSWCHSSA 2026 for @kaizhetan_17 , Chatswood High School.

Boys U17 Long Jump: the photo shows his foot clearly behind the board — but 3 officials called it a foul, and under a rule that isn't in the official rulebook, that meant no protest could even be filed. A foul isn't measured, so we'll never know how far it really went. Final legal mark: 6.30m, 8th place.

Boys 4x100m Relay: heat 45.30 with messy changeovers, back to the track to fix the exchanges, then 43.89 in the final — Silver medal, new school record, Kai anchoring the last leg home. 🥈🇦🇺
