How to generate your Shopify Admin API token in 60 seconds
  1. In your Shopify Admin, click Settings (bottom left) then Apps and sales channels.
  2. Click Develop apps (click 'Allow custom app development' if prompted) then Create an app.
  3. Name the app MESSA Dropship and click Configure Admin API scopes.
  4. Tick these 4 checkboxes: read_products, read_inventory, write_orders, read_fulfillments.
  5. Click Save, then click Install app.
  6. Click Reveal token once, copy the key (starts with shpat_), and paste it below.

Your token is encrypted with AES-256 in Supabase Vault and used only to sync inventory and send customer orders.

Brand and Commercial Terms

When selecting a percentage discount, you do not need to calculate wholesale prices in your spreadsheet. We calculate it automatically from your retail RRP.
Australian Supplier Legal and Quality Standards
  • Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Guarantees Products must meet statutory quality standards. Supplier indemnifies MESSA under ACL section 274 and will replace or refund faulty items at supplier expense.
  • ACCC Safety Standards and Recalls Products must comply with Australian Mandatory Safety Standards (AS/NZS) and must not be subject to any ACCC or Product Safety Australia recalls.
  • Genuine Australian Retail Pricing Stated RRPs must reflect genuine Australian retail market prices in AUD. Wholesale trade pricing must maintain at least a 1.4x markup and $4 profit per item.
  • Automated Catalogue and Safety Screening Products without valid photo URLs, with insufficient margin, or containing profanity, weapons, vapes, or unapproved athletic substances are automatically rejected at ingestion.
  • Dispatch Service Level Orders must be dispatched within the agreed business days with valid Australian courier or Australia Post tracking.
